The goal of the electives is to expose the scholars to a wide variety of experiences and opportunities which they might normally not have. Elective topics and activities span a broad range of disciplines - art and culture; science/STEM; sports; community service. We have also included outside speakers. In addition, the electives provide interactive co-learning opportunities for scholars and mentors. They also complement both host school’s academic and EDGE’s leadership curriculums.
